Paddlemebare: long and hard

Paddlemebare got off the plane at O'Hare and drove all the way down the Interstate just to visit the basement.  Of course,  he has other business too.  The basement is just a side trip.  But he wants me to just give him as much as I think he needs.  Seems to need a lot.  Felt just about every implement I got.  And got them hard.
